Spreading Holiday Cheer
To spread holiday cheer to families facing financial hardship in Chester County, Brumbaugh Wealth Management clients and staff donated toys and clothes in support of Holiday Hope Chest. A collection of dolls, toy cars, sports balls, games, clothes and much more were donated to prepare for Holiday Hope Chest's annual shopping event during which children and families select special gifts through the redemption of vouchers--truly brightening up their holidays.

Brumbaugh Wealth Donates to Holiday Food Drive
Brumbaugh Wealth Management was pleased to participate in the Chester County Food Bank's annual holiday food drive. Our office manager, Nancy Garganio, delivered over 15 cartons of food that the Brumbaugh Wealth staff and firm donated to help those with food insecurity in Chester County. The Food Bank was appreciative and provided the reminder that it accepts donations at the holidays, as well as throughout the year.

Wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list of Five Star Wealth Managers. The award is based on 10 objective criteria. Eligibility criteria – required: 1. Credentialed as a registered investment adviser (RIA) or a registered investment adviser representative; 2. Actively licensed as a RIA or as a principal of a registered investment adviser firm for a minimum of 5 years; 3. Favorable regulatory and complaint history review (As defined by FSP, the wealth manager has not; A. Been subject to a regulatory action that resulted in a license being suspended or revoked, or payment of a fine; B. Had more than a total of three settled or pending complaints filed against them and/or a total of five settled, pending, dismissed or denied complaints with any regulatory authority or FSP’s consumer complaint process. Unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through FSP’s consumer complaint process; feedback may not be representative of any one client’s experience; C. Individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint; D. Filed for personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years; E. Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients. Evaluation criteria – considered: 6. One-year client retention rate; 7. Five-year client retention rate; 8. Non-institutional discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; 9. The Brumbaugh Wealth team recently presented a check to the Chester County Food Bank in support of its effort to serve the food insecure in the community. In addition, the team was grateful to extend their help to pack boxes during a volunteer day at their Exton warehouse--a humbling experience to serve the community, as well as support the Food Bank's impactful mission.

Brumbaugh Wealth Hosts Annual Client Event
Brumbaugh Wealth hosted its Annual Client Event on October 19th at Whitford Country Club in Exton, PA. An evening of good food, fun, and conversation was enyoyed by over 100 attendees. In addition to being an enjoyable evening, it was also "magical" as a sleight-of-hand artist entertained clients.

Kim Brumbaugh Honored by Boy Scouts of America and Vista
The Chester County Council of the Boy Scouts and Vista Today recognized Kim as a 2023 Leadership Megastar. She received this honor for her leadership skills, as demonstrated by her character, vision, courage, passion, and humility. Kim comments, “True leaders listen first and lead by example. Abramson Cancer Center Ribbon Cutting
Kim Brumbaugh, as a Chester County Hospital Foundation Board Member, recently participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony of the new Abramson Cancer Center at Penn Medicine's Chester County Hospital. The Center will provide exceptional and state-of-the-art cancer treatment and care to the patients and families within the community.

Brumbaugh Wealth Takes Strides for Charity
Brumbaugh Wealth staff and family members recently participated in The Snowball Shuffle. Joining in the spirit of the event, our team donned snowman caps. This 5k run/ 1 mile walk was held on March 4 at Eagleview Town Center in Exton, PA. All proceeds from this event, which Brumbaugh Wealth was a sponsor, benefited Communities that Care of Greater Downingtown in its mission to use preventative programs and policies to foster positive mental health and youth development.
2022 Executive of the Year Awarded to Kim Brumbaugh
On November 3, Kim was recognized as the 2022 Executive of the Year by the Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry (CCCBI) during its Annual Awards Celebration. This award is presented to a senior executive who demonstrates great business and civic leadership in the community. Kim Brumbaugh Presents at Women Influencing Business Conference
Kim conducted a breakout session for the Chester County Chamber’s Women Influencing Business “WIB” conference held at the Boy Scout’s of America complex in Exton, PA. Her topic was “Women and Finance in Today’s Economy”. The WIB event was a huge success, with sixty-seven women attending.
New Office Opens in Greensboro
Brumbaugh Wealth Management is pleased to announce the opening of our newest office location in Greensboro, North Carolina. August 1, 2022 marked the grand opening at 101 S. Elm Street, Suite 56, Greensboro, NC 27401. Financial Planner and Director of Business Development, Andrew Scheppegrell (Schep) is our “resident” advisor. This is a perfect fit for Andrew as he is a native of Greensboro and graduate of the University of South Carolina. Brumbaugh Wealth 2022 Faces of Philanthropy
The Philadelphia Business Journal honors Brumbaugh Wealth Management at their 2022 Faces of Philanthropy event. Brumbaugh Wealth Management partnered with The United Way of Chester County to undertake tax reassessments for local homeowners that were being overcharged with their taxes. Of those undertaken, Brumbaugh has paid for one in five mobile homeowner reassessments. This initiative has saved hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes and penalties. With the financial support of Brumbaugh, they have successfully appealed over 760 cases, saving mobile homeowners an average of $885.35 annually on taxes.
